This particular and neatly enamelled- and/or typical circular-shaped membership-badge (ie. ‘Mitgliedsabzeichen’) was intended to signify membership within the ‘Flugmeldedienst’ (being a part of the: ‘Reichsluftschützbund (RLB)’ ie. air-raid warden-service) is a nicely maker- (ie. ‘J.Preissler – Pforzheim’-) marked example that shows an engraved bearers’-number on its back that reads: ‘49606’
